Tyler Camera Systems is a FAA approved Parts Manufacturing Authority (PMA) and, has obtained Supplemental Type Certificates (STC) in the US and Canada, ANAC Brazil and EASA for the EU for the Special Operations Platform on the AS 350/355 Series helicopters.
State of the Art Equipment
Tyler Technologies, in collaboration with a number of law enforcement agencies, has developed the Tyler Special Operations Platform (TSOP) forrapid S.W.A.T. insertion / extraction, dive team transport & emergency evacuation response. The TSOP is designed to make these and other helicopter missions easier, safer and more efficient.
Tactical Advantage
Similar in concept to equipment that is currently employed in U.S. Army Special Operations, the system consists of an externally mounted cargo platform.In the post 9/11 era, this equipment is expanding the counter-terrorism capabilities of law enforcement agencies worldwide.
Rapid Installation
Installation is user-friendly andrequires no modification to the airframe. The TSOP is designed to mount to the helicopter’s aft cabin area and fuselage jack points with unique clamps & brackets. It takes less than 5 minutes to install the cargo platforms, no tools required, ideal for emergency response.
Design Features
Each platform is integrated with an ergonomic folding footrest & attachment points for securing personnel wearing a safety harness. Optional equipment includes self-retracting twist release seat belts specially designed for the TSOP. Also available are quick litter mounting brackets.
