| TSOP readily mounts to the helicopter’s skid crosstubes with special quick connect clamps. The installation is user-friendly and requires no modification to the airframe. Once the initial setup is complete, it takes less than 5-minutes to install TSOP, making it ideal for emergency response.

TSOP can be stowed in a vertical lock-down position for either flight or ground operations. Usually, two TSOP's are installed, however, you may install only one TSOP to the helicopter if necessary. In the case of the AS-350/355 series helicopters, it is recommended that if one platform is utilized, it should be fitted to the left side of the helicopter for optimal C.G. characteristics.

Seatbelts The TSOP is designed with attachment points to secure personnel wearing rappelling type harnesses, but some agencies are employing self-retracting twist-release seatbelts. These seat belts are specially designed to work on the TSOP.
Technical Characteristics Platform Assembly: The main frame is 3-inch diameter 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum tubing and longitudinal supports are 1-inch diameter 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum tubing. Approximate weight is 66 pounds per bench. Mount Brackets & Bench Supports: 7075-T651 computer control (C&C) machined anodized aluminum.

Body Armor Seat Pad As optional equipment, a prototype Level 3A lightweight ballistic seat pad for the TSOP has been developed. The seat pad provides a greater degree of protection for team members employed on the TSOP. The pad itself only weighs about 7.5 lbs. and quickly installs onto the TSOP with nylon straps. Tyler recommends that agencies interested in a ballistic tolerant seat pad coordinate with their body armor supplier for fabrication.
